'Get rid of anything that’s cool': Hulk Hogan brutally mocks Trump in resurfaced video

WWE hall of fame wrestler Hulk Hogan (whose real name is Terry Bollea) will be introducing former President Donald Trump tonight at the Republican National Convention (RNC). But a video has recently resurfaced of the wrestler enjoying himself making fun of the former reality TV star.
In the video, which was posted to X (formerly Twitter) by PatriotTakes, Hogan walks viewers through how to do a proper impersonation of Trump. He notably mentioned that it was important to emphasize that a Trump impression requires not being "cool" and to "turn your back on everyone."
"First thing we gotta do is get of anything that's cool," Hogan said, taking off his signature sunglasses. "So sunglasses gotta go."

"Next thing we gotta do is turn our back to everybody or on everybody. So let me turn my back on everybody that's close to me," he continued, commenting on how his back "looks like the Brooklyn Bridge, brother."
"So now that I got my back turned, I'm definitely in character. And in my opinion, Donald Trump, the first thing he would do, would be to pull out the comb. For the over! So we can get the comb... over, brother," Hogan said, putting a paper bag on top of his head in an imitation of Trump's hair.
"And now we pucker them little lips up," he added. "So now I got the combover and I'm officially Trump-itized, Trump-a-mania runnin' wild with the combover — oh wait a minute, there's a flap of wind covering the bald spot, hold on brother! Whoa, whoa whoa, God, turn the wind down, this is Donald Trump! Whoa, don't blow my hair up! — Alright, now that I got the combover, the first that I'm gonna do is: 'Ivana, you're fired! Melania, you're fired! ... the new wife, you're f— wait, I can't fire the new wife, she'll take the other half of my stuff!'"
"Anyway, that's how you imitate Donald Trump, chump!" Hogan said, blowing up the paper bag and popping it in his hands.

The final night of the RNC, which is typically when the most high-profile speakers take the stage, is decidedly devoid of elected Republican leaders. Instead, singer Kid Rock and Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White will be speaking along with Hogan before Trump gives his nomination speech. White in particular has drawn controversy over his speaking slot, given that he was seen on video slapping his wife at a New Year's Eve party.
Trump's speech on Thursday night will be his first public speech since he was nearly assassinated last Saturday at a Pennsylvania rally. While he has appeared at Fiserv Forum wearing a bandage over his ear, he has notably not yet released medical records, which would confirm that he was struck by a bullet rather than grazed by shrapnel.
