Former CIA counterterrorism analyst Phil Mudd burst into tears on CNN as he discussed the Florida school shooting that killed 17 people.

"I have ten nieces and nephews. We're talking about bump stocks. We're talking about legislation," Mudd said before beginning to break down while condemning the shameful inaction to stop school shootings in the U.S.

“A child of god is dead. Can not we acknowledge in this country that we cannot accept this?" Mudd continued as he lost his composure. “I can’t do it, Wolf. I’m sorry, I can’t do it.”

Mudd was too distraught to continue speaking.
