Michael Moore, who was bumped by Larry King in order to cover Paris Hilton, makes the best of that slight with an appearance on The Daily Show. He makes a great point about how it's not our system of government that's necessarily dysfunctional, it's the people we elect that screw it up. This is why, he deduces, the public doesn't trust them to run our health care system. His solution: mimic Canada's system. For more funny and interesting insights, check out the video to your right.

Insurance Companies, Trial Lawyers, and Big Pharma are a evil

cabal that will kill any attempts to get universal health care, particularly one paid for through the government.
1) Trial lawyers will moan about not being able to sue private doctors, hospitals, and nurses for big payouts.
2) Insurance companies will complain about not being able to make huge profits from health insurance coverage, doctor's malpractice insurance plans, hospital insurance plans, corporate insurance plans, and even trial lawyer's malpractice insurance.
3) Big Pharma will object to not being able to gouge customers, have unsafe drug trials, manipulate drug prices, and advertise on television.

The only real hope is to enlist the only other big market sector out there and that is large corporations and small businesses. But especially large corporations because they are less competitive internationally because of bloated insurance programs, pension schemes, and the overhead of managing those problems. We need to get them on our side to have any chance against the shysters and insurance racketeers.

But if Moore got bumped by Hilton it sure says alot about where American's and MSM =mainstream media's priorities are?

Regarding Moore- he is great but he doesn't talk enough about prevention(both individual AND institutional) which is the ONLY way for our country, Canada, Cuba and ALL nations to get out of this "disease care" (not health care) fiasco we have created.

When Michael Moore was to appear on Larry King concerning one of America's biggest concerns,HEALYH CARE it was reported that PARIS HILTON would replace him instead. Not knowing who Paris Hilton was, i decided to investigate this masculine dignitary. Much to my surprise, I discovered via the internat that Paris Hilton is just another cheap, two-bit slut! Thank God, the only news programming I watch is via the Internet with TV's C-SPAN as the exceptiom. This is just another link in the corrupt chain that occupies the White House.
